Need a new and fun way to teach two of the MOST important Supreme Court cases in American History?
In this lesson, students will be given the background of three important cases (McCulloch v Maryland, Gibbons v Ogden, United States v Lopez) that set a standard for federal / state powers.
After reading the cases, they will create a judge scorecard for each "fight" using a boxing analogy. i.e. what was each side's weapon of choice?, what was their future outlook?
