Using the McGraw-Hill Reading Wonders series. First page is for the teacher to know what words to use and what letter to change to build a new word. The second page is for the students. They should color the vowels yellow and then cut out the letters at the bottom. The teacher will use the first sheet instruct which words to build. The student page has changed slightly from Units 1-4. The students have columns to place the words they built. This will allow them to organize their work and they can work more independently. At the end of the lesson have the students build and glue a word then draw or write a sentence that goes with the words on the back of the page. This will last you for 5 weeks of Unit 6.
