Woo Hoo a Christmas FREEBIE for you.
Just my little way of saying thank you
to all of my followers, and visitors who've stopped by or purchased things.
If you're looking for a quick, easy and fun
little something to plug in for those high-energy last few days
of school, I think you'll enjoy "Me Mints".
Simply make a copy of your students’ school picture
, or take one of them wearing a Santa hat. Enlarge
it on the copier and cut into a circle.
Students glue it to the center of an 8-inch, sturdy, white paper plate.
Using a red marker
have children make red stripes all the way around the plate so it looks like a peppermint candy.
Cover with clear cellophane
, which they sell by the roll at The Dollar Store.
Tie the ends with red and green curling ribbon
& glue the greeting on the back:
"You're worth a mint and priceless to me.
I'm wishing you a Christmas as sweet as can be."
These make an awesome border for a December bulletin board
, or look sweet hung back-to-back suspended from the ceiling.
Right before vacation, take them down and have students take it home as a decorative gift
for their families.
I've also included a smaller template
to make this as a Christmas ornament
I'm Diane from Teach With Me, wishing you an especially sweet Christmas.
