10 inquiry-based, transdisciplinary lessons that address language arts/poetry, science, math, and social studies objectives, with some fun kinesthetic and musical/artistic elements mixed in.
The unit and individual lessons were designed to easily scaffold to meet a range of students' needs, to include ELL/ESL/EFL, special needs, and multi-aged/grade classroom of learners.

The lessons focus on the following essential questions:
• What are the parts of my body? (External and Internal)
• What do the parts of my body do?
• What would happen if I didn't have that body part?
• How can I use my body to communicate?
• What do I like?
• What do I dislike?
• Who am I?
• What makes me similar and different from others?
