The questions on this four page test over the life cycle of a mealworm highlights five different levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy – knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, and synthesis and features many questions on process skills. It follows the sequence of a science investigation: exploration, question, prediction, plan, data collection, and conclusion. The questions are comprised of 7 multiple choice, 3 short answer, 4 fill-in-the-blank, sequencing, identifying the four stages of the life cycle as well as interpreting the results of a vertical bar graph.
Points are not assigned to the questions so you may choose your own values for each section. Answers are included. This test is appropriate for grades 4-8. Please note: This test is not saved in a PDF format so that you can adapt it to your needs.
