I created this one/two day project, depending on your class time, to be fun way to learn or review Mean Absolute Deviation. When the fidget craze came to our school I decided...If you cant beat them, join them! The kids were active and engaged through out the entire project.
This activity focuses the following TEKS
– 8.1F-G (Process standards)
– 8.11B (MAD)
Special Note: You will need a spinner and a timer for each group. I bought a set of 5 for the class, but many kids brought their own too.
