Students practice mean, median, and mode while having fun! Instead of just sitting at their seats doing a worksheet, they can be up moving around the room! This self-checking scavenger hunt consists of 13 problems that require students to calculate mean, median, or mode, identify outliers, determine missing numbers to create a certain mean, and determine which measure of central tendency is most appropriate for a given situation.

Post the pages around your room in a random order. The students may start on any letter they choose. They first solve the problem on the top of the page. Then, they are to find the answer to their problem on the bottom of another page. They then solve the problem on the top of that page. They continue around the room until they return to the first page where they started their scavenger hunt.
Starting with the “M" page the slides spell MULTIBRANCHED when solved in the correct order. I find that this method makes it very easy to quickly see where/if a student has made a mistake when I am checking and/or helping. Enjoy!
