I have done this activity for the last couple years. I put on a timer for a minute, put on some great music and my students have to see how many various fitness tasks they can do in one minute (example: sit ups). When we finish each task we sit down and take the results from a set amount of students and calculate the mean, median and mode before starting our next activity. Its fun and active.
I find that by the end of the activity students have had some hands on practice learning mean, median and mode in a fun and engaging way.
