Product Description
This is a differentiated research guide (three levels) to help support students in research and writing (of the Washington, D.C. monuments; although it can be adapted to most symbolic pieces of art!). Suggested lesson plans for five days are included. In addition to exposing students (5th-9th grades) to non-fiction reading of historical events, it’s overall concept of symbolism allows students to analyze events and their monuments.
