This poster teaches students how to give meaningful apologies. So often kids will say "sorry" without really meaning it. This doesn't accomplish anything. By using the meaningful apology format, the student who was in the wrong has to really think about what they've done and how their actions may have been hurtful to another. Meaningful apologies give students the opportunity to show the hurt student why they're sorry and what they plan to do to fix it in the future. The student who was hurt will feel heard and understood and both students can move on.
