PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This Prezi highlights means of persuasion: ethos, pathos, and logos. This entire activity is intended for whole class instruction that transition to group or individual student work. By the end of this lesson students will have a basic foundation of the Means of Persuasion.

Part 1: Notes or discussion
Defintions of terms, short background on Aristotle

Part 2: Whole class check for understanding
Read arguments and class decides if the means of persuasion is ethos, pathos, and logo (answers hidden in Prezi)

Part 3: Students compose three short arguments
The subject that requires persuasion relates to their daily life in the classroom (you'll understand when you see the Prezi) utilizing what they know about ethos, pathos, and logos. I suggest having students read these whole class and decide who has the most convincing argument and which means of persuasion was the most effective.
