Want to practice using science tools?? Pull out those measuring cups. It is great if students can read the fractions on the measuring cups but they don't need to be able to. Even little scientists can match numbers and find the right tools!
These cards are great for a science station activity, partner activity, science center, sensory table task cards, or even in a pretend play bakery or science lab!
To use: Students make two measurements and compare to see which is more. If playing as partners, each student makes a measurement from the card and then they both compare their measurements.
You will need:
1. something to measure (water, sand, rice, beans)
2. something to measure into (I used glass vases because you can see through them clearly making it easy to compare.) You will need two.
3. Measuring cups
There are many color options to match whatever measuring cup set you like best!
