Included in this measurement bundle include 6 of my new activities:
The Measurement Bunch
Students read scenarios and decide what type of measurement tool to use to solve the problem. This makes a great "around the room" activity, center, or small group activity that helps students apply their knowledge of measurement
Getting to the Short of It: Abbreviations for Units of Measure
Students need to know the shortened version, or abbreviation, for measurement units. In this activity, students read the card with the measurement then record the abbreviation. A great "round the room" activity or center.
Measure Me This Measure Me That: A Bingo Game
8 bingo cards are included (b/w version as well as color version available), as well as cards to call out for this fun review game. Each card includes a picture and the answer for self-checking or center activity.
Measurement Can Be Very Bearable
Students solve puzzles by putting units in order from least to greatest. Bonus activities include puzzles where students must put the conversions together and use them to solve the final sheet.
How Do You Measure?
Students use pictures to sort tools and items under their correct term (capacity/liquid volume, linear, weight/mass, temperature, time). This is a great introduction, as well as a great review, to see what students know about measurement tools and terms!
Included are activities for nonstandard units, capacity/volume, linear, and weight/mass. These are "real life" applications that reinforce measurement skills in a fun and engaging way for your students! Activity sheets and "exit slips" are included in this packet. This covers both metric and standard units.
Each of these bundled activities are also available separately, but you can buy them today in this bundled version and save a little $!
