Description

Practice measuring length in inches, centimeters, yards, and meters with these measurement activities and math centers. Students will work on using a ruler and other measuring tools for length. They are designed for you to use in your math centers and rotations.

Included are 4 different math stations for measurement:

  1. Measurement Town: Students use a map to measure distances from one location to another.
  2. Measuring Around the Classroom: With five options to choose from, students will measure objects around the classroom using a ruler, yardstick, or meter stick. One option has students choose the correct measuring tool.
  3. Snake Measurements: Students will measure snake cards in inches.
  4. Dragon’s Breath: Students will measure dragon cards in centimeters.
