This file includes task cards that can be used in several different ways. I have used the cards in three ways, I have used it as a board game for math centers. I included the board game sheet if this is how you want to use it. It can also be a write the room/scoot. I have included an answer sheet to use it as a scoot/write the room. The task cards can also be used as a cooperative learning activity where groups work together to determine the best unit or as a quiz game.
This file includes two sets of task cards. One set has a choice between inches or feet. the other set allows students to chose from inches, feet, yards or miles as a unit of measure. You can use one or the other- or differentiate and use both! There is a chance on a few of the cards that students may choose feet or yards when the answer key says something else. I personally do not use the answer key because my students play in groups and have discussions about which would be best and why. If students can explain why and justify their partners will except if it makes sense.
There is a cheat sheet reminding students about feet, yards and miles. And there is two answer keys.
