Rulers just never seem to be big enough when teaching students how to read and use them! I decided that enough was enough and made an 8' 8" ruler that anyone can print out and put anywhere in their classroom that they would like! This ruler comes with two sets of arrows, so that you can move them daily and challenge your students' ability to use a ruler! I also included the following, to help our kiddos understand measurement a little more:
*A suggestion of use page
*A step-by-step picture guide to assembling the ruler
*A "Take a closer look..." at ruler and fractions page
*A standard and metric measurement poster
*2 pages of arrow options (solid and patterned)
