This PDF can be shown on the board like a PPT to use with the whole class or printed to use individually or in groups. There are 9 multiple choice questions over reasonable estimates of measurements and finding the perimeter of shapes (including a square with just one side labeled). Some questions are higher-level/multiple steps while others are basic knowledge.
Whole Group: This is a quick check for understanding, and since it's multiple choice, it's easy to use in a game format (back-to-back, teacher vs. students, secret vote, etc.) or as cooperative learning (think-pair-share, etc.).
Individual/Groups/Partners: I can think of so many options here, such as a scoot, speedy partners, math center, guided math small group, etc.
*Note: Question 6 does not ask students to estimate the measurement. Thus, it would be helpful to let students have a ruler and large paper clip to actually measure and answer that slide. Also, it may be helpful for some students if they had scratch paper to add up question 9. :)
*Answer key included!
