Product Description
This is a very basic presentation to assist young students in recognizing and identifying the markings on standard and metric rulers. It is designed to identify the largest unit (inch) and then progress to smaller units ( ½, ¼, and ¾ inches) . On the centimeter ruler students are first introduced to the larger unit (centimeter) and then to the smaller unit (millimeter.)

There are instructional slides, guided practice slides, answer keys, and quizzes with answer keys. 28 slides in all.

There are printables to accompany the guided practices and quizzes.

There is an additional slide for optional practice activities (slides 24).

Finally, there are blank slides for each unit of measurement, so that you can add mores slides of your own.
