An amazing new spaceship was recently created. Instead of running on gas, it is fueled by brain power! Your knowledge of fractions, time, and money are sure to power your rocket deep into the solar system for tons of cool space exploration fun.
Players will begin their journey at the astronaut, and make their way to the end of the solar system by rolling the dice. If a player lands on a star, he/she must pick a Space Explorer game card and correctly answer the question in order to propel his/her ship deeper into the universe. If a student lands on a planet, he/she may count it as a new discovery by circling it on his/her game card (don’t forget to have him/her share the fun planet fact with their friends!). The astronaut to explore the most planets wins!
In this super fun Smarten-Up file folder game, students will use their knowledge of fractions, time, and money to solve problems. Students will begin to see the relationship between all three types of measurement, making future measurement problems easy to solve.
In addition, students will have a fun time learning about their solar system!
*print additional space explorer discovery cards depending on the number of players.
