In this unit students will learn how to work with measurements, including perimeters and areas of shapes. They will start with learning about the metric and imperial systems and will learn how to estimate and convert metric measures. They will go on to learn how to find the perimeter of any polygon and how to find the areas of squares, rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, trapezia and compound shapes.
