In groups of 2-3, students use a standard deck of playing cards (no jokers) to calculate various measures of central tendency. For students who are lower ability or new to finding Measures of Central Tendency, all cards are positive numbers. Increase the difficulty for more advanced students by having black cards represent positive numbers and red cards as negative numbers. Full set of directions available with the purchase of the download. Students may end up with fraction or decimal answers as well, teacher discretion used to tell students where to round for decimal answers or if answers should be written as fractions. Just print the double-sided game board for each student and you are ready to go!
