Description
Do your students struggle with measuring angles with a protractor? Do they know how to draw angles with a protractor? This two-part activity pack will help them with both!
Part 1: The Game! In "Angle Wars," each player races to fill their 360° circle! Players roll dice to determine each angle to measure and draw within the circle. The first player to have a total of at least 350° wins!
Part 2: Independent (Digital) Practice! Students can measure angles of different orientations and receive immediate feedback using Boom Cards. It's a great way to review skills independently. Students can play on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones! Preview this game or ANY deck in my store for free.
This game is great for students new to using protractors and/or need extra practice using them to draw and measure angles. I play this game all the time with students who do not feel comfortable using a protractor, and by the end of the game, they are a pro!
This download includes:
- 3 Printable game boards (2-player, 3-player, and Fast Play).
- Detailed instructions with pictures.
- Video of a full play-through of the game.
- Measuring Angles Boom Cards deck.
You will need your own dice, protractor, pencil and colored pencils, markers, or crayons (2 colors each).
Please provide feedback after you have used this game. I'd love to know what you think!
