My fourth graders need to know how to use a protractor? I know that was my initial response when I saw the new standards. But, have no fear, this set of task cards is a perfect mixture for centers, independent practice, small group work, spiral test review or practice at home. Simply print (preferably in color), laminate, cut, shuffle, and your students will be reading and measuring with protractors in no time!
This document includes 24 task cards focusing on: using a protractor to measure angles, reading a protractor with a given angle and with a given shape. It also includes category cards (angles less than 90˚, right angles, acute angles, etc.) for matching and/or classifying angles after they are measured. Answer key and recording sheet are also included.
These task cards are aligned to Texas 4.7C and Common Core 4.MD.C.6
