This activity lets students practice common core standard MD4: "Measure to determine how much longer one object is than another, expressing the length difference in terms of a standard length."
Students will rotate around 10 stations, each about 3-5 minutes long, and determine the difference in length between two pictures of items. They will record their answers on a classic "SCOOT" recording sheet. The stations can be laminated for use at a later date.
This is also a great activity to have in your emergency sub folder, printed and ready to go - instructions are included and easy to follow!
