The student will estimate and use U.S. Customary and metric units to measure length to the nearest - inch, 1/2 inch, foot, yard, centimeter, and meter;
Students will pick the best estimate from given choices for the length of an object. Questions for both metric and customary. Students will use a specified ruler (inches or centimeters) to measure a given object to the nearest half inch or centimeter. The students will practice choosing all of the correct answers from a given list of choices of possible measurements.
You can use these cards as a "scoot" game where students scoot around the room one desk at a time. You can also tape them around the room and let students work at their own pace. You could also use them for early finishers. The options are endless!
