This is a 2nd worksheet designed for students to apply their measuring skills with both a ruler and protractor of a parallelogram. In addition, students will have to apply a formula to find both the perimeter and area of the quadrilateral. I did NOT include an answer key because it will be different depending on your printer and photocopier you use when running copies. Just the slightest difference will get some decimal values for the line segments (which may be what you want). The size of the quadrilateral can also be manipulated as well (you are buying the WORD document so you do this). Currently, for this file on my set-up, the line segments are close to whole number values. One can easily convert this to decimals or millimeters to differentiate difficulty if you wish. I sometimes do this for my advanced math classes, but for 5th grade it is perfect to what one might have to do on statewide assessment testing.
