Included in this 9-page set are materials for a math and research station station for students to measure themselves in comparison to an animal. While all animals grow to be within a range of sizes, one size has been chosen as definitive to give students the comparison. The iguana height is 52 inches. A notetaking research guide based on the Super 3 Research Model is included. This station was created for a library setting, but makes a great math center for primary classrooms. Other animals in the series are from each continent and the ocean: emperor penguin, giraffe, grizzly bear, humpback whale, kangaroo, noctule bat, and Siberian tiger.
