Product Description
This product can be used as a math center or a whole group activity. It comes with 16 fish, a "What Did I Catch?" chart, and a "My Catches" recording sheet. You will need a homemade fishing pole (wooden dowel, twine, and magnets), paperclips, and a ruler. The paperclips have to be "hooked" to the end of the fish, so that they can be "caught." Students take turns "fishing." They reel in their catches and use the "What Did I Catch" chart to see what kind of fish it is. They record the name of their fish and the lengths in both centimeters and inches onto their recording sheets. Keep playing until all fish have been caught!
