Product Description
This activity addresses the 2nd grade common core standard of measuring 2 objects and finding the difference between them.

CCSS 2.MD.A.4
Measure to determine how much longer one object is than another, expressing the length difference in terms of a standard length unit.

They measure the pictures of candy in inches. Then they solve problem solving questions on the next page, by finding the difference between 2 lengths.

(For example, "How much longer is the Pixi Stix than the Juicy Fruit gum?")

*One misconception to discuss is on the pixi stix---measure the actually pixi stix not the box background you see.
