Product Description

In this lab students will measure the acceleration of a falling ball. The flight of the ball is filmed with a cell phone and student are able to measure the time of the fall and distance accurately from the cell phone video. The students measure the "free fall acceleration" first for a ball dropped, then for a ball thrown upwards. Their measurements of the acceleration are compared to the accepted value, and they attempt to explain any discrepancies.
