***Updated: Includes an anchor chart and printer friendly anchor charts for interactive notebook pages on "Media Techniques." It also includes a practice page and an independent assessment on techniques used in media!***
This file on media literacy includes an anchor chart on media and types of media. There is a printer friendly version of the anchor chart to use as an entry in an interactive notebook. It also includes a chart where students list examples of media and their purpose. They then glue this in the interactive notebook across from the anchor chart.
In addition to the notebook pages, this file contains two additional activities. One page has students sorting types of media as either print or digital media. Another page gives examples of media, and students are asked to decide if their purpose is to persuade, inform, or entertain. Then they must justify their answer.
