Media Literacy Unit: Gender and Media
In this mini-unit, students read non-fiction texts and engage in research in order to address their guiding question: How does the media influence our understanding of gender? The research component of this unit assumes that students have a basic understanding of the research process and have had some experience with finding resources to help them answer an inquiry question.
