As a Teacher of the Deaf, it is extremely essential that we stay up-to-date on technological advancements, as well as medical advancements for Hearing Loss. As our technology driven society progresses, our opportunities for advancement dramatically increases! My high school students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) often want to learn more about what could be, is or will be available to them in relation to correcting their hearing loss, if possible. Therefore, to expand their awareness on this topic, we research current topics in the medical field that revolve around restoring Hearing Loss. In the past year or so, we've compiled a list of different topics and websites that share research studies that have proven to offer some form of "cure" for hearing loss.
