UPDATE - Due to popularity, I included extra online resources that can be used whole class, in small groups and stations, and individually, to extend past the basic 100 introductory terms that HOSA has provided!
These three assessments were made to cover 100 Medical Terminology practice questions to assess initial, basic understanding of the 100 key terms shared on the Medical Terminology Competitive Event website for the annual Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) conference in the United States. They include multiple choice and short answers based on deducting introductory information based on the prefix/suffix of a medical term.
These are perfect for high schoolers and middle schoolers (in the JUMP Competitive Events) who are beginning to practice and memorize key prefixes, suffixes and root words for the Med Term Event, and a stepping stone to continue advancing in learning medical terminology.
The 100 terms are broken down into 3 separate parts, from terms #1-30, 31-60, and 61-100 to effectively support students as they learn the material in chunks.
