Bring the music of these Medieval and Renaissance Period composers to life for your students with these cute finger puppets as they learn about the composer and his/her music. Suggested uses....as part of your guided listening (students can conduct with the puppet, practice vocalizations, use the puppet to show variations in the music such as high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft, timbre, etc. you are featuring), as a workstation for creating, or just for extra fun! Students can even make them dance along as they watch a video clip of the song.
Images are in color and black & white and there are eight puppets to a page. No need for card stock - regular paper works fine. Cut out and tape around the finger. You can have your students color the black and white images or simply print the "color" versions. The color images even look great printed in black and white on a basic copier.
Medieval & Renaissance Period composers in this set include:
• Hildegard von Bingen
• Giovanni Gabrieli
• Guillaume de Machaut
• Giovanni da Palestrina
• Josquin des Prez
UPDATED 12-28-14: 10 additional pages were added (of the same puppets) but these new pages have cutting guidelines to assist some of your students. Please re-download this file if you purchased it previous to 12-28-14 to get the updated version.
