This is an 11 chapter book written at the elementary and middle school levels, and just as perfect for us adults, too!
It is a historical fiction in both the author's and Ben's voice where the reader becomes educated and inspired as he or she discovers not only who Ben Franklin was and what he did, but HOW he was able to become so successful, and how we all can become just as successful ourselves.
It includes four pages at the end to draw the things you can invent, design, and compose now that you know, just like Ben, if you never quit, you can never fail.
It also includes links for experiments and games with Ben, and a one-class-period lesson plan on his inventions that you can do at school or at home.
It is dedicated to the Ben Franklin waiting inside of all of us. May we learn from each of our failures as Ben did and gain the knowledge that if we never quit, we can never fail!
And to all of the children in the world, including us adults who still have that childlike quality of belief in our unlimited potential, or have forgotten and need to be inspired and reminded. May we all continually reinvent ourselves into the people we dreamed we could be when we were young and full of hope.
