Description

5 challenge problems - simplifying polynomials. As students progress through the challenges, they increase in difficulty. My 8th graders love these, and every Friday we make it a competition to see which class period has the most correct answers! These would also be great as bell work, exit tickets, or task cards.

Math Common Core Standard 8.EE.1 is the focus: Know and apply the properties of integer exponents to generate equivalent numerical expressions.
