Are you a brand-new teacher who will be hosting Meet the Teacher night for the first time this fall? Are you a veteran teacher looking for ways to work smarter, not harder when it comes to Meet the Teacher night? Either way, this set was created with you in mind! We all know that first impressions are so important, yet Meet the Teacher night can be a stressful race to the finish when it comes to setting up the classroom and getting everything ready! I put together a set of resources for my own first grade team to help us get through Meet the Teacher night with a minimum of stress this year and I'm excited to share it with you!
Here's what's included in this file:
1.) A simple but professional looking "The ABCs of ____ Grade" template for your own class or grade level's handbook (completely editable with cover options in black and white as well as color...plus ideas for each letter of the alphabet...AND a completely finished example to give you ideas of how you can word yours)
2.) A PowerPoint slideshow file for Meet the Teacher night with slides ready for you to type on (blank slide templates included in case you need to cover something I didn't create a slide for)
3.) Editable supply labels so parents and students know where you want them to put their supplies (both color and black and white versions provided)
4.) Forms for parents to fill out either at Meet the Teacher night or in their first day of school packets:
-Welcome letter template
-Student information sheet
-Parent/Guardian sign-in sheet
-Transportation cards and transportation information sheet
-Volunteer sign-up form
-Social media permission forms (Facebook, Instagram, class blog, Twitter)
-Classroom wish list template
-Supply list templates (half sheet and full sheet options in both color and black and white)
5.) Treat labels for cans of Play-Doh or any other brightly-colored item that would make a good Meet the Teacher treat (both color and black and white versions)
Check out the preview file to see exactly what you're getting! Please note that this is a .zip file that contains both PowerPoint and .pdf files...you will need both to be able to view and edit the files. Thank you for checking out my store!
