This presentation is part of a unit to teach learners about leading and participating in formal, professional meetings. The PowerPoint is part of a larger unit, focusing on teaching students about their IEP's and how to present important information to their guests. Meeting Process - Part 1, can be used with students of all abilities, not only students within Special Education, in an effort to focus on the various components of a meeting.
Meetings are broken into five main steps and then discussed in detail about the importance of the step to the meeting, important vocabulary that could be encountered in the workplace, communication strategies (verbal, written and body language), and key details that may not be known if you've never lead a meeting before.
Highlights: Each section has color coated vocabulary words, pictures that relate to the topics presented in the slides, follows a Cloze Note packet (also available through the TPT store), and provides a real-world look at what it takes to lead a successful meeting.
