These Mega 6 quizzes 31-40 provide students a good six-problem morning (or anytime) review over Math Expressions topics we’ve covered thus far (from Math Expressions Common Core Grade Five 2013). I will continue to write these throughout the year and add them to TpT in groups of 10. Because of my shortened afternoon math block, I have found these morning quizzes very valuable to my math instruction. These 10 quizzes cover the following topics: long division, division with decimals, word problems, rounding, multiplying by decimals, writing decimals in expanded and word form, writing factors, greatest common factor, multiplying decimals times numbers with exponents, writing equivalent fractions, identifying patterns in a sequence, area, coordinate grids, writing algebraic equations, subtracting mixed numbers, comparing x and y values on a grid, writing your own word problems, matching equations to a word problem, volume, order of operations, adding fractions with unlike denominators, creating line plots, analyzing line plot data, changing fractions to mixed or whole numbers, and more . Feel free to modify these to fit your curriculum. Some quizzes have two quizzes to a page while others are a full page in this set. Enjoy quiz #35 and the answer key as a preview.
