Description

This hands-on sorting activity will help your students learn the differences between six groups of animal classification (birds, fish, mammals, arthropods, amphibians and reptiles) as well as diurnal vs. nocturnal animals, animals that migrate vs. hibernate vs. adapt for the winter, and animals that are herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores.

There are two sets of cards for each sorting activity and answer keys that students can use to check their own work. Your students will enjoy the colorful photos and you will enjoy using them over and over again.

If you are using these as part of a unit on Biomes, check out our Biome Calendar Card Bundle!
