Whenever I read my old journals and diaries I get a thrill. I can almost picture myself back there, feel the sand beneath my feet and smell the salty air.
So I thought “Wouldn’t it be great for my children to try doing the same thing this summer?”
That’s how I came up with this whole “My Summer Journal” issue. It is available in English, French, and German.
I tried to make it as appealing as I could, not just drawing some lines, but giving the children more tasks. They have to really document each day.
For each day they will have to write:
The weather conditions;
Their best meal;
A grade for each day, from 1 to 10.
The teacher/parent would have to photocopy one or all the versions for as many days he/she considers fit.
