Upon completion, this summary table offers an all-inclusive, holistic medium for students to review epithelial and connective membranes for human anatomy and physiology. Students map out the three subclasses of epithelial membranes (serous, mucous, and cutaneous) and the five subclasses of connective membranes (fascia, synovial, periosteum, perichondrium, and meninges). Students then write the main function(s) for each of the three subclasses of epithelial membranes. Furthermore, students map out the two types of serous membranes, visceral and parietal. They then map out the scientific name and common name of the organ or body cavity they cover. All of the aforementioned information is bundled into a one-page table. I included a word/definition bank and a color-coated answer key.
