Use these printables to help students analyze a memoir of ANY length and at ANY reading level. Students will understand that a memoir is a memory, of course, about an event or period of time in the author's life. Students love these stories since they are MEMORABLE, of course! Designed for multiple uses, multi-use.
Students will read ANY memoir of your/their choice, finish sentence starters and make check marks that cause them to reflect on the author's purpose, text structure/organization, character, theme and much more. To make it very common core, they will use text evidence because we do want them referring to the text! They will also notate important events/people/obstacles and successes. There is also room for creative thinking.
Flexible use options:
-use for whole/small group narrative/book/novel studies
-use as a project or book report
-use pages as part of a HW packet or assignment
-use for shorter/longer text or both
-use for lit. circles/book clubs
-use for independent reading/SSR/DEAR
