Lesson one: Activities that explore Memorial Day
1. What is Memorial Day to you?
2. A Memorial Day poem.
3. Watch and discuss a video about the history of Memorial Day, complete with three versions of a viewing guide
4. Create a logo for Memorial Day

Lesson two: Activities that explore the Medal of Honor
1. Watch and discuss a video about the origins of the Medal of Honor, complete with three versions of a viewing guide, and discussion questions.
2. Listen to an interview with a Medal of Honor recipient's father and his Memorial Day project, complete with three versions of a viewing guide, and discussion questions.
3. Listen to a top country song inspired by that interview, complete with three versions of a interview/song comparison, and discussion questions.
4. Hear from a Medal of Honor recipient (or 2 or 12). Links, discussion questions, and viewing guide provided.
