This memory match game can be used as a partner or small group activity. It aligns perfectly with 5th grade math common core standard OA.2. Students are to match the written expression, numerical expression, and evaluation.
I usually make them start with a partner by finding the correct three cards that go together. They then can scrabble the cards and place them face down in an array. They will turn three cards over at a time. When they find a match, they get to keep the cards. The partner at the end of the round with the most cards is the winner.
