Memory Shapes is a great game to have in your arsenal. If you have 5 minutes, you can play this game and help improve the short term memory skills of your students. While students with learning disabilities are targeted in a game like this, all students will benefit. Math skills are emphasized, visual tracking, cross midline movement, auditory skills and memory can be boosted with regular use of games such as this one. Students are read a set of two or three step directions. They manipulate the shapes on the white board to follow the directions. The game can be as fast or slow paced as you would like.
