Here are 56 puzzles for your students to solve! Each page has 2 sets of broken heart pieces to put back together again as 2 whole hearts.Every puzzle has more than just 2 pieces to put together, and the pieces are mostly irregular shapes.
Each heart (and of course, its pieces) has a multiplication fact written on it. The student must be sure to put the correct pieces together to make a multiplication fact and a complete heart.
Once the heart has been "mended" properly, the student writes the fact on the line under the heart.
The specific facts covered are: 2x2-2x9; 3x2-3x9; 4x2-4x9; 5x2-5x9; 6x2-9x9; 7x2-7x9; 8x2-8x9; 9x2-9x9
This activity could be used as a cut and paste printable. As an alternative, the sheets could be laminated and the puzzle pieces pre-cut so that this activity could be used over and over again in a math center.
