Description
In this Stress and How to Manage It station activity, students will be up and moving around the room while they learn different techniques on how to manage stress. Learning how to manage stress is a key tool for nurturing mental health and boosting well-being.
First, students will discuss what stress is and what might be some stressors for teenagers. Then, they’ll undergo some (harmless) stress with a timed activity. After viewing a short video and Powerpoint they will visit the stations showing different stress-reduction techniques. Students will then have an opportunity to practice them in class.
