The most difficult thing a person can do is go back and forth mentally or emotionally. It is like being on a rocking ship at sea. You just wind up getting sick of it all, and then you either make a bad decision or quit. It takes mental toughness to make it in today’s world without giving up on yourself, your goals, or others.
There are events and people that always seek to be a distraction to us. First, you have to decide what is a priority in your life and work. Then, you have to put boundaries up against the things and people that seek to distract you from the priorities. It is a mental and personal fence you put up to protect the priorities inside the fence from those that are attacking from outside.
